While not shot 100% by drone, the following used a DJI Phantom to catch all of the aerial shots. When filming, I consider drones to be just another option to capture a shot, so I like films that combine traditional and aerial cinematography.
Last fall we took an epic 28 day road trip through the West Coast of America. After seeing all the cities, the roads, the national parks and the people only one word describes what we saw and experienced: Wild. We drove over 6500km, swam in an old volcano, ate delicious foods, got my camera bag and wife’s wedding ring stolen and visited too many amazing places. I would highly recommend taking the trip!
Almost all of it is filmed handheld on the GH4 using a Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 lens. We also had the DJI Phantom quadcopter with a GoPro to get the aerial shots. Additional footage from Jon Kuhn.
Edited in Premiere Pro and colour graded using Vision Colors Impulz LUTs in After Effects.
