S Baudains Aerial Photography Services was able to capture this video of a Search and Rescue plane crash site. Watching this video, it’s easy to understand why insurance agencies and police agencies alike are interested in using drones to survey accidents.
Jersey Search And Rescue plane crash site
The pilot made a heroic landing with no engines in appalling conditions. You can see the wheel marks clearly. Plane has now been turned around, but was nose-in into the tree near it’s tail.
S Baudains Aerial Photography Services is “a fully qualified and compliant UAS operator and operate commercially with permission from the CAA and Jersey director of Civil Aviation. Our flights are notified with air traffic control and we always fly in accordance with the strict guidelines contained in relevant air law.”
About S Baudains Aerial Photography Services
S Baudains Aerial Photography Services was registered in December 2012. We are the ONLYCAA and CIDCA permitted UAS operator in Jersey capable of carrying DSLR level cameras. We have full commercial liability insurance.
Our mission statement is to provide an affordable aerial photography service in Jersey and beyond to both private and commercial customers.
Our Chief pilot has been flying models of various types since he was 16 years old and in 2013 become Jersey’s first BNUC-S certified pilot, permitted by the CAA and locally the Channel Islands Director of Civil Aviation for performing aerial work.
He has been trained by former 3D helicopter champion Rob Fisher and by EuroUSC, scoring 100% in the theory exam and rated “Excellent” on the Operations Manual. Our flight test went without a hitch and we passed with a “no comments” rating by the chief examiner.
