This two-day, 16 hour course introductory course costs $1,500-$3,500. Course pricing varies based on your take-home drone selection, if chosen. To secure your seat in this course, a $250 deposit* is required and the remaining balance is due via cashiers/bank check at the beginning of class or wire transfer made 3 business days prior to class.

About Introduction to Drones

Introduction to Drones, offered by Drone Universities, goes beyond FAA Part 107. During your 16 hours of training you will learn about industry standard flight software, flight modes, battery technology, various multi-rotor designs, flying techniques, FAA waivers and certification process, aviation weather, crew resource management, aeronautical decision making, airspace and much more. About FAA Part 107

FAA Part 107 is the latest FAA commercial drone regulation; Part 107 allows drone pilots to fly drones commercially or for business purposes. To fly under Part 107, you need to pass the FAA drone pilot test called the Airman Knowledge Test. This is a two hour, 60 question test which requires training and extensive studying. Introduction to Drones, from Drone Universities, teaches you everything you need to know to be a competent, commercial pilot and much more.

At the end of our two-day course you will be not only be prepared for your FAA Part 107 Exam, you will also feel confident entering the industry as a professional drone operator

Graduates will receive a Drone Pilot Competency CertificateFAA Ground School Sign-off and a take-home DJI drone. Course pricing varies based upon take-home drone selection, if chosen. All students who complete this course, may retake this course free of charge for 2 years*.

1. This is offered as a refresher course. Students who retake this course will not receive a certificate or FAA Ground School Sign-off and they must provide their own drone.
